The short version: SleepSound Mixer works entirely offline, has no accounts, and never sees your name, email, or location. The only data that leaves your device is anonymous usage statistics and crash reports, plus whatever Apple or Google process when you subscribe.
Who we are
SleepSound Mixer is developed by Sersoft ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app handles on both iOS and Android, and why. If anything here is unclear, email us at suleyman.er.er@gmail.com.
What we do not collect
- No account, registration, name, email address, or phone number.
- No location data.
- No microphone access — the app plays sounds, it never records them.
- No contacts, photos, files, or health data.
- No advertising, no ad identifiers, and no selling or sharing of data with data brokers.
What we collect, and why
The app uses two Google Firebase services on both platforms:
- Firebase Analytics — anonymous usage events such as "a sound was played", "a mix was saved", or "the paywall was shown", together with general device information (model, OS version, language). We use this to understand which features matter and to improve the app. These events contain no personal identifiers.
- Firebase Crashlytics — if the app crashes, a technical report (stack trace, device model, OS version) is sent so we can find and fix the bug. Crash reports contain no personal data.
Firebase assigns a random app-instance identifier to group these events. It is not linked to your identity and resets if you reinstall the app. Firebase processes this data on Google servers; see Google's Firebase privacy documentation for details.
Purchases
Pro subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) on iOS and Google (Google Play) on Android. We never see or store your payment details. The app only receives an anonymous confirmation that a subscription is active. Refunds and billing are handled by Apple and Google under their own terms and privacy policies.
Data stored on your device
Your saved mixes, timer preferences, and settings are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded anywhere. Deleting the app deletes them (unless they are part of your device backup, which you control).
Data retention
Anonymous analytics and crash data are retained on Firebase according to Google's standard retention periods (analytics event data up to 14 months) and are then deleted automatically. We keep no other data about you — there is nothing else to retain or delete.
Children
SleepSound Mixer is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Your choices
- On iOS, you can limit analytics for all apps in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
- On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID and manage app data in system Settings. The app itself uses no advertising ID.
- Uninstalling the app stops all data collection immediately.
Changes to this policy
If we change what data the app handles, we will update this page and the effective date above before the change ships.
